Crash Bandicoot Demake: Summer-2020

Using Agile methodology, my team and I created a demake version of the famous platform game ‘Crash Bandicoot’.

This was the final project of my first year, and the biggest project I have ever done at the time. In a team of 5, our assignment was to create one level of Crash Bandicoot, using the technology of our choice, and to build a marketing and a crowdfunding campaign.

I was in charge of coding all the game scripts needed, map creation, and testing.
Some of the scripts I created:
– The movement script, used for the movements of the main character.
– The life script, used to keep track of the player’s life points.
– The checkpoint script, used to keep track of the checkpoints the player activated.

Final Presentation:

Since this project happened while we were being quarantined, the presentation was done remotely. We presented to our school’s president, vice president, and professors our Marketing and crowdfunding campaign and a demo of our game.
